Olive Leaf Australia Pty Ltd operates the world’s
largest Olea europaea grove dedicated to the scientific
farming of olive leaves. Olive Leaf Australia has developed the
proprietary EnvirOléa
system to manage almost 400,000 Olea europaea trees solely
for the production of highly bio-effective olive leaf teas and
fresh olive leaf complex in liquid and powder formulations.
Established by Australian Olive Industry pioneers
Ray & Delphine Archer, the privately-owned company is perfectly
positioned to capture a majority share of the world’s fast-growing
fresh olive leaf complex market. In the more than thirty years since
1974 the Archer family has owned a wide range of olive industry
businesses. It has been a journey which has culminated in the
EnvirOléa
system of olive leaf growing and processing.
Second-generation, Julian Archer has worked with
olive trees since his childhood and currently leads the company
in the role of Corporate Development Director.
The company operations are situated on 1,800 acres
(7.3 million sq.m) of pristine farmland located 90 minutes drive
west of Brisbane on Australia’s east coast. Regular exports
occur to countries in Asia and Europe and a new office was opened
in Korea in 2005.
To meet international standards all processing
is done according to the strict guidelines of Good Manufacturing
Practice (GMP). The facilities are regularly GMP audited by the
Australian Government and all extracts are listed on the Australian
Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG). All laboratory testing services
(HPLC, TLC, ORAC, micro-biological control, heavy metal identification
and residue testing) are outsourced to TGA-accredited laboratories.
